Ear, Nose, & Throat

Whether you’re experiencing a common sinus or ear infection, or an uncommon infection or tumor, we understand that you want the excellent care from otolaryngologists, who are specially trained to manage and treat patients with conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, head and neck. Otolaryngologists, commonly referred to as ENT physicians specialize in the treatment of ear, nose and throat conditions in adults and children. Our board-certified ENT physicians at Onslow ENT, an Onslow Ambulatory clinic are trained to handle a wide variety of conditions, including many that require highly specialized care and state-of-the-art facilities.

The human ear is extremely complicated and our sense of hearing is considered to be the most complex of our human senses. They also treat some disorders of the mouth that can be related to the sinus cavity. The conditions our physicians treat include:

  • Comprehensive hearing examinations including behavioral audiometric testing, Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), Immittance testing, and Otoacoustic emissions testing.
  • ABR testing is completed for natural sleep for newborns and can be completed under anesthesia for infants. This is a procedure that measures the response of the hearing nerve when a sound is presented.
  • Immittance testing is a procedure that provides information about the health of the eardrum and the middle ear.
  • Otoacoustic emissions testing is a procedure that sends sound into the ear through a small ear tip and then measures the sound reflected back.

  • Counseling
  • Hearing aid fittings for infants and young children
  • Hearing aid fittings for adults
  • Hearing aid repair and electroacoustic evaluation
  • Custom swim molds
