Onslow Memorial Hospital provides an array of diagnostic and interventional radiology services. Our facility is staffed by board-certified radiologists, certified technologists, and support staff. With advanced, convenient imaging diagnostics, highly detailed CT imaging, and 24/7 access to laboratory testing and services, physicians and patients will receive quick and accurate diagnoses. Onslow Memorial Hospital Imaging is focused on ensuring patients receive the best exam as comfortably and quickly as possible. With tools such as multi-slice CT scanning, nuclear medicine, MRI, bone density tests, and mammography, we can view soft tissue, bone, arteries and blood vessels, and identify and diagnose masses or abnormalities.

The preferred tool for diagnosing cardiac and vascular disease is available in Onslow Memorial Hospital’s state-of-the-art cath lab. Cardiac catheterization’s detailed digital imaging shows physicians how well your heart is working and can help determine the most effective treatment if it’s not working as it should be.

In addition to diagnostic heart catheterizations,
 the lab provides radiology intervention and pain management intervention. With advanced equipment and experienced specialists, we can diagnose heart disease with great accuracy to ensure the most beneficial treatment medicine has to offer.

Fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists, the Onslow Memorial Hospital laboratory assists physicians with diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of medical conditions. The hospital’s full-service lab offers comprehensive inpatient screenings, tissue studies, cytology and testing
 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All outpatient services and specimen collection are handled at
the hospital’s satellite office, Onslow Diagnostics, located at 200 Memorial Drive.

Directed by experienced, board-certified pathologists, the lab staff also includes certified medical technologists, medical laboratory technicians, cytotechnologists and phlebotomists. Although the lab performs a number of specialty tests, some tests are performed at nationally accredited reference labs.

At Onslow Imaging Center for Women, we focus on making it easier for women and their physicians by offering a wide range of imaging services under one roof. We provide essential diagnostic services in a private and comfortable environment located adjacent to the Hospital.

In addition to experienced, board-certified radiologists, our staff includes nationally certified or certification-eligible mammography technologists, ultrasound technologists, and radiologic technologists. Our Imaging Center for Women offers comfort and privacy in a caring environment.
