Skin Cancer Awareness

On average, a person’s risk for melanoma doubles if he or she has had more than five sunburns.

So if you’ve been sunburned in the past, have suspicious moles, or other at-risk factors, you should attend our FREE skin cancer screening event June 13th from 9 a.m.–11 a.m. The event will be held at Central Coast Dermatology, 215 B Station Street, Jacksonville, NC 28546.

Screenings are by appointment only and preference will be given to the uninsured/underinsured. Please call  (910) 577-2581 to make an appointment.

And don’t forget to do your part to protect your skin this summer by wearing sunscreen and practicing sun safety! For more skin cancer prevention tips, click here.
