Visitor Limitations Are Now In Place

Onslow Memorial Hospital is temporarily limiting visitation to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors, and staff due to the high volume of flu cases in our communities.

  • All patients’ family and friends should limit hospital visits.
  • Visitors under the age of 12 and any visitors who are not feeling well with cold or flu-like symptoms may be restricted from visiting.(Some exceptions such as a well-child visiting their newborn sibling will be allowed.)
  • Please consider connecting with patients by phone or social media rather than visiting the hospital if:
    • Under the age of 12
    • Aged 13 and over and not feeling well

Call (910) 577-2345 to be directed to a patient.

Because of the increase in flu-like illnesses in North Carolina, Onslow Memorial Hospital has imposed these limitations.  This precaution is now in place, effective immediately.

You can help prevent the spread of influenza by practicing frequent hand hygiene, staying home if you are sick and by getting an annual flu vaccination.
