Onslow Memo­r­i­al Hos­pi­tal Cel­e­brates 80^th Anniver­sary with a Reded­i­ca­tion Ceremony

JACKSONVILLE, NC – July 9, 2024, Onslow Memorial Hospital has announced a special rededication ceremony to commemorate the 80^th anniversary of our community’s hospital. The event will take place on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the front entrance of Onslow Memorial Hospital.

This rededication ceremony holds significant importance for the Onslow community as it marks a pivotal moment in the hospitals commitment to providing quality healthcare.

"We are excited to invite the entire community to join us in celebrating this significant occasion," said Dr. Penney Burlingame Deal, President and CEO at Onslow Memorial Hospital. "This rededication ceremony is a symbol of our collective effort and commitment to honoring the past while embracing the future.”

The ceremony will feature speeches from community leaders, music by the 2^nd Marine Division Band, and a ribbon cutting ceremony which will provide attendees with an opportunity to engage and reflect on the significance of this occasion. There will be an opportunity to view hospital memorabilia from the past eighty years.

Members of the media, community leaders, local residents, and supporters are encouraged to attend and participate in this special event.
