From the OR to Our Community: A season of giving.

January 19, 2026

Teammates at Onslow Memorial Hospital are renowned for their generosity. This past holiday season, our incredible surgical services team banded together to find even more ways to give back to the residents of Onslow County.

During the holidays, Onslow Memorial Hospital hosted a November food drive to support the United Way CHEW! program and organized an Angel Tree, dubbed the “Hope Tree,” to benefit women living in recovery at the Hope is Alive house in Hubert.

Our surgical services team went above and beyond, adding two additional giving activities to support local organizations within Onslow County.

In October, following the success of a previous mini food drive, the department brought it back for another year, collecting peanut butter and jelly jars for the local soup kitchen. In December, the team reunited to gather jackets, blankets, and socks for residents at Premier Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.

We are incredibly grateful to have teammates who support our community both inside and outside our hospital walls. Together, we are truly One Great Team.
