Cel­e­brat­ing Our One Great Team

In a delightful display of appreciation, Dr. Penney Burlingame Deal, the President and CEO of Onslow Memorial Hospital, took a moment to spread joy around the hospital yesterday. Armed with her One Great Team Snack Cart, Dr. Burlingame Deal visited each department to personally thank the dedicated teammates for their hard work and commitment.

As the candy flew off the cart, so did smiles and laughter. “Dr. Burlingame Deal truly knows how to brighten our day,” said Victoria Morales, PR and Marketing Manager as she followed Dr. Burlingame Deal taking photos. “It’s nice to recognize our teammates for their efforts, and the candy was just a sweet bonus!” It is an added bonus that the One Great Team Snack Cart boasts all of our One UNC Health values.

This gesture is a testament to Dr. Burlingame Deal’s leadership style, which emphasizes gratitude and team spirit. “Our success is built on the incredible efforts of each of you,” she remarked. “Thank you for your dedication and for making this hospital a great place to work.”
