Executive Chef Tom Moore started his career in a pizzeria called Ninos in Basking Ridge, NJ and found a passion for food. One day his mother saw an ad in Better Homes and Gardens for the New England Culinary Institute. He decided to apply and was accepted! Tom now has almost 36 years of culinary experience and has been a member of the Sodexo team for ten years.

Tom loves the pressure of making split second decisions in the kitchen and the overall fast-paced environment. He’s been part of the Onslow Memorial family for almost three months and says his favorite part of working here is interacting with the people.

When Tom isn’t wielding a knife in the kitchen, he will most likely be found collecting shark teeth on the beach or cheering his sons on at their BMX competitions.
