Winners of Lighten Up Onslow Announced!

Katie Wright, a member of “The Fat Burners,” was beyond ecstatic when she learned her team was the biggest loser of the second session of the Lighten Up Onslow weight loss challenge.
“I’m proud; I worked hard,” she said, apologizing to her teammates for her exuberance.
Having lost 51 pounds as a group, 21 of them lost by Wright, Onslow Memorial Hospital declared The Fat Burners the overall winning team in the 16-week session that concluded Sept. 9.
Other members of the group, which received 16 free movie tickets for the team effort, include Melanie Holm, Stephanie Nemeth and Rebekah Campos.
Holm, Nemeth and Wright are co-workers in the aquatics department aboard Camp Lejeune. When they decided to enter the challenge as a team, Campos, a friend of Nemeth’s, was invited to be its fourth member.
